Course Overview

As with all ETL courses, we offer flexible training times, including evenings and weekends if needed.

The ETL English as a Second Language course follows a task and communicative based approach to teaching and learning. The programme requires the learner to discover English use and skills via tasks and communication between the trainer, other learners and the outside world, such as TV, music, reading authentic text and speaking. The ESL course focuses on General English study combined with English Skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Unlike many other ESL courses, English Training Lounge actively teaches grammar points, including parts of speech and tenses. Every element of our ESL course encourages the learner to actually use and understand why.
